Fabelfjord is teaming up with Dammit Animation, Croatia to complete the production of the animated short “Nora’s Ark”. The companies cooperated on the award winning short “Home Office” (2022). We proudly present a teaser, scroll down to have a look!

“Nora’s Ark” is a modern Noa’s Ark story set in the North of Norway in near future. Climate change is causing a flood and Nora’s dad is preparing an old fishing vessel for the rescue of family and animals. Nora is very found of insects, especially her best friend Billy the beetle. She wants to save all the insects on the boat, but dad think they are pests and says no. Nora needs to find her own Ark, where beetles and other insects are welcome.

The film is written and directed by Endre Lund Eriksen, awardwinning director and author of books for children and young adult. Head of animation and co-director is Isak Gjertsen, winner of Sweedish The Guldbagge Award. Dammit Animation now joins the team with Daniel Damm as head of production, animator and composit-artist. Dammit Animatin have secured funding from Croatia Audiovisual Centre (HAVC).

Art director is the Dutch illustrator Linde Faas, wellknown in the Netherlands for her beautiful children’s books illustrations. The film is made in digital cut out and has a running time of 20 minutes.
