Our animated short “Home office” (“Hjemmekontor”) directed by Endre Lund Eriksen, will premiere at Tromsø International Filmfestival in January 2023.
The film will participate in the Films from the North competition, and will also be screened on the outdoor cinema at the city square.
The story takes place in the city of Tromsø. The schools are in lockdown due to corona, and Lilly (10) must stay at home and take care of her drunk mother. When the bad girl from class sees what’s going on at home, Lilly thinks her secret is in danger. But sometimes help can come from where you least expect it.
“Home office” is written, directed and produced by Endre Lund Eriksen, and Daniel Damm is the co-director. Animation and compositing is done by his company Dammit Animation, with a team consisting of animators from Crotia, Sweden and Brazil. Art direction and character design is made by the Norwegian illustrator Bård Sletvold Torkildsen. Music composed by Alexander Aarøen and performed by himself and the Arctic Philharmonic. Sound design by Alexander Wangsbro.
Voice actors are Milla Fischer Yndestad as the main character Lilly and Dagny Hansine Strøm as Molly. Lilly’s mother is voiced by Trude Øines.
